Kalua has operated on Paraga Beach since 2003, positioned within one of Mykonos' smallest and most protected bays. The property combines a beachfront restaurant, bar and lounge, VIP bungalows, DJ programming, and a boutique within a single integrated format. The restaurant runs daily from 10:00 AM to midnight, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner across a dual menu that combines Mediterranean fusion with a dedicated Japanese offering. The beach club format operates in parallel, with sunbeds, cabanas, and VIP bungalows requiring minimum spend commitments. Valet parking is available on site.

The venue transitions through distinct phases across the day. The morning and early afternoon are relaxed and beach-focused, with the energy building progressively from around 4:00 PM when the DJ format intensifies and the atmosphere shifts toward a party configuration. A resident DJ and live music program anchor the afternoon and evening. The bay's protected position makes it one of the more wind-sheltered options on the island, with a diving rock in the center of the beach as a characteristic landmark. The crowd is a consistent mix of international summer travelers and Mykonos regulars.

The kitchen runs two parallel menus. The Mediterranean fusion program is built around a fresh fish display from which guests select their own catch of the day, alongside dishes including smashed chickpeas with tahini, tiger prawn tiradito with aji amarillo, fresh sea urchin with cilantro and lemon, and fried zucchini balls with lemon yogurt. The Japanese menu covers traditional sushi with a modern European twist, signature Kalua rolls, and tailored Omakase selections executed by dedicated sushi chefs. The wine list covers Greek and international labels. The cocktail program uses fresh ingredients and in-house preparations throughout.
