Solymar has operated on Kalo Livadi Beach since 2004, established as one of the more comprehensively serviced beach clubs on the island. The setup covers sunbed rows differentiated by proximity to the waterline, with the first two rows closest to the shore offering direct Aegean and Naxos views, amuse-bouche, and cold drinks as part of the package. Private cabanas accommodate up to 8 guests with full personalized service. The 5 Senses VIP area sits above the water and accommodates up to 18 guests in a fully enclosed private configuration. A lounge area between the restaurant and beach accommodates up to 12 guests in a comfortable mid-format between full beach and dining. A massage area operates on site. Reservations are required and recommended well in advance during peak season.
The morning setup is calm and unhurried, attracting a crowd in the 30s to 50s bracket and well-traveled couples who use the early hours for genuine relaxation. From around midday, the resident DJ shifts to louder, club-oriented music with reggae undertones, and the atmosphere transitions into a more social and dance-forward configuration directly on the sand. A live singer performs daily alongside the DJ program. The crowd that arrives through the afternoon is younger and more social, creating a natural energy progression across the full day. Solymar is also accessible by sea through a private dock with skipper service, and a private heliport operates two minutes from the beach. Valet parking and electric vehicle charging are available on site, along with a boutique and private shuttle service.
The full Solymar restaurant and beach menu is available directly at all sunbed configurations throughout the day. The beach menu covers brunch, lunch, sushi, poke bowls, and lighter options. Standout items include fresh poke bowls with local fish, yogurt with honey and seasonal fruit, and the full cocktail and wine program from the restaurant cellar. The cocktail menu covers signature preparations alongside champagne service. Full lunch and dinner service runs from the restaurant kitchen with the same quality available at beach positions. Note that menu prices carry a 50% supplement from 9:00 PM onward.
