Toy Room Mykonos opened in September 2014 as the island extension of the London-based ToyRoom Club franchise, positioning itself as the only dedicated Hip Hop, R&B, and Rock nightclub in the Mykonos nightlife circuit. The venue occupies a building in the Little Venice waterfront area that reads from the exterior as a standard Cycladic house, with the interior revealing a fully designed boutique club environment. Custom furniture and specially commissioned artworks by Philippe Cardinal define the aesthetic, alongside state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. With a capacity of 180 guests and 12 VIP tables, Toy Room is one of the most intimate and configuration-heavy venues on the island. The club operates nightly from 11:30 PM to 6:00 AM throughout the summer season.
The music format is the primary differentiator of Toy Room within the Mykonos nightlife landscape. While the majority of the island's clubs operate on house, deep house, and electronic formats, Toy Room anchors its programming in Hip Hop, R&B, and Rock, with resident DJs supplemented by frequent guest bookings. A terrace area adjacent to the venue activates earlier in the evening with a broader mix that includes house and EDM tracks, transitioning to the signature Hip Hop format as the night reaches its peak inside. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights draw the highest crowd volumes.
The interior is designed as a luxurious living room format, with opulent seating, high-chair bar stools, and immersive lighting creating a close-range social environment. The club's iconic bear mascot wearing sunglasses appears consistently across the venue's visual identity and reflects the playful yet premium positioning of the concept. Given the intimate capacity and high proportion of VIP table space, walk-in access without a reservation is limited. Table minimums start at approximately €500 and reach €1,000 or above depending on the evening and group configuration. The dress code is smart and elegant, enforced at the door.
