Alemagou operates on Tarsanas Beach in Ftelia, approximately ten minutes from Mykonos Town, as one of the island's most referenced bohemian beach club formats. The name derives from an ancient Mykonian dialect word meaning "Finally," which defines the attitude of the project from the outset. The concept is holistic, with design, music, food, and service developed as a single coherent narrative rather than independent elements. The beach is not the typical sheltered southern bay but a rougher, more exposed northern stretch that contributes to the distinctive character of the venue and filters the crowd accordingly.

The design reinterprets traditional Cycladic building techniques through a contemporary lens, with light grey elements, smoothed corners, unrefined natural fabrics, and an architectural approach that reads as both remote and cosmopolitan. Giant sunbeds, cocktails served in coconut shells, and a massage tent anchor the beach club experience. The atmosphere is deliberately laid-back through the daytime, shifting toward a more rhythmic and energetic format as the afternoon transitions into the sunset golden hour. The crowd is international, design-conscious, and consistently well-traveled, drawn to Ftelia specifically for what Alemagou offers rather than as part of a wider beach circuit.

The kitchen revisits traditional Greek and Mediterranean recipes with a focus on simplicity, freshness, and authenticity. Standout dishes include grilled whole fish, lobster, spaghetti vongole, and grilled calamari. The cocktail program adapts classic preparations to the Alemagou character, with fruit-forward caipirinhas consistently referenced across editorial and guest sources. The wine program covers 200 labels with 16 available by the glass, including significant representation in magnum and jeroboam formats, with a focus on rosés, white Burgundy, Champagne, Santorini whites, and red Bordeaux. Music runs as Trip-Hop with Latin, Cuban, and African influences through the day, building toward more rhythmic and upbeat programming at sunset and into the evening.
