At.mosphere opened in January 2011 on Level 122 of the Burj Khalifa in Downtown Dubai, holding the Guinness World Record for the world's highest restaurant at 442 metres above ground level. The restaurant occupies a floor-to-ceiling windowed space with 360-degree panoramic views covering the full Dubai skyline, the Arabian Gulf, Palm Jumeirah, and on clear days, the outline of the desert beyond the city. The kitchen is led by head chef Yannis Sgard, a Paris native whose culinary direction centres on contemporary French cuisine with premium international sourcing. The dining room combines a muted contemporary palette with sumptuous lounge areas and a full restaurant configuration, all framed by the floor-to-ceiling windows that make the setting self-evident from the first moment. The lounge operates separately from the restaurant and is available for drinks and lighter formats throughout the day. The elevator access to Level 122 is among the fastest in the world. The pace inside is composed and unhurried, with a service standard matched to the positioning of the venue.
