Casa Jaguar has been operating in Tulum's Hotel Zone since 2011, built around a wood-fire kitchen set within an open jungle environment on Carretera Boca Paila. The restaurant runs a Mexican menu with Caribbean influence, using local and seasonal ingredients prepared over wood and open fire. Beyond the dining format, Casa Jaguar has established itself as a cultural venue, running the Jungle Party every Thursday since its early years, with a curated selection of local and international artists.
The space is fully open-air, surrounded by jungle canopy with the kitchen visible from the dining room. The atmosphere shifts through the evening: dinner service runs from 6 PM in a composed setting, and the Jungle Party format begins around 9 PM on Thursdays, extending late into the night. Tuesday evenings also run with a livelier music program. The venue accommodates both dinner-focused guests and those arriving primarily for the party, with VIP table configurations available.
The menu is centered on Mexican cooking with Caribbean influence, developed around the wood-fire kitchen and open oven. Signature dishes include grilled aguachile, sea bass with corn masa, and ribs. Vegan and gluten-free options are available throughout the menu. The cocktail program incorporates mezcal, local ingredients, and house infusions as its foundation.
