COTE operates at 3900 NE 2nd Ave in Miami's Design District, bringing Simon Kim's Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse concept from New York. The restaurant holds one Michelin star in the 2025 Michelin Guide USA and a James Beard Award nomination. The format merges Korean barbecue with the structure of a classic American steakhouse: tableside grilling handled by trained staff, USDA Prime dry-aged beef, and a wine program of over 1,200 labels. Lunch and dinner service run daily.
The entrance runs through a neon-lit corridor that opens into a 5,892 sq ft dining room with smokeless tabletop grills at every table. A dry-aging room is visible from the dining area. The bar anchors the center of the space and operates Magic Hour daily from 5:00 to 7:00 PM without reservations. Two private dining rooms accommodate up to 12 guests each. The energy is high but controlled, consistent with a venue that treats the cooking process as part of the dining experience.
The signature format is the Butcher's Feast: four selected cuts of USDA Prime beef cooked tableside, served with banchan, two stews, and egg soufflé. The Steak Omakase offers a progression of seven cuts including Japanese A5 Wagyu. Additional menu items include steak tartare with Kaluga caviar, Kimchi Wagyu Paella, and a full raw bar with oysters, lobster, and bluefin tuna. The wine list spans 1,200+ labels with a focus on bottles produced in direct partnership with the winery. Service is formal and attentive throughout.
