Carbone Miami opened in 2021 at 49 Collins Avenue, in the South of Fifth neighborhood at the southern tip of Miami Beach. The restaurant is part of Major Food Group, founded by Mario Carbone, Rich Torrisi, and Jeff Zalaznick, and pays homage to the Italian-American restaurants of mid-20th century New York. The interior was designed by Ken Fulk, with an electric and extravagant atmosphere that has made the venue an instant fixture of Miami's dining scene. An expansive outdoor patio extends the dining room, seating up to 50 guests under rattan ceiling fans and lush greenery, with a tropical feel that nods to Havana.
Service runs through captains dressed in burgundy tuxedos, delivering a level of theater that matches the food. The dining room and patio carry a retro-glam energy, vibrant and stylish without losing the comfort of a classic supper club. The crowd is consistently high-profile, drawing regulars from the New York original alongside Miami's dining circuit. The pacing of service is structured and deliberate, built around the kind of attentive, choreographed hospitality that has defined Major Food Group properties globally.
The menu elevates Italian-American classics with exceptional ingredients and fine-dining technique. Signature dishes include Caesar Salad alla ZZ, Carpaccio Piemontese, Baked Clams, and Veal Parmesan, alongside Spicy Rigatoni, Linguini Vongole, Lobster Fra Diavola, and Chicken Scarpariello. Reservations are managed directly through the restaurant, Resy, or by email, with a cancellation fee applied for late changes.
