DRIFT opened in 2017 at the One&Only Royal Mirage on Dubai Marina, founded by Sunset Hospitality Group. The venue overlooks one kilometre of private beachfront and lush landscaped gardens, with a temperature-controlled infinity pool positioned at the centre of the setup and panoramic views covering Palm Jumeirah, Bluewaters Island, and the Dubai skyline. The interior and landscape design was executed by WA International, drawing inspiration from the French Riviera with an aesthetic of understated elegance, muted tones, and refined materials. The Provençal restaurant operates under Chef de Cuisine Yassine Riahi, whose menu centres on organic ingredients, freshness, and simplicity within a classical French framework. DRIFT is adults only across the pool and beach areas, with beach houses available as the only family-accessible configuration.
The setup covers DRIFT sun loungers around the pool and beach, DRIFT island beds positioned directly beside the infinity pool, cabanas as private luxury gazebos with additional cushions and white shades, and beach houses for guests bringing children to the beach area. The design creates a composed and private environment that Time Out Dubai describes as one of the chicest beach clubs in the city, built for guests who prioritise calm, service quality, and setting over social energy. The crowd is consistently resident and resident-adjacent, with a strong repeat visitor base. The Provençal restaurant serves breakfast from 09:00 h and lunch until 18:00 h daily, with a menu built around organic ingredients and French coastal tradition. The cuisine focuses on freshness and simplicity, with the finest available produce defining each dish rather than complex technique. The cocktail and wine program pairs French grape selections with creative signature builds across the full service day.
