La Consentida has been operating in La Veleta for over five years, running a full-day format from breakfast through late night. Located on Calle 12 Sur in the heart of the neighborhood, the restaurant draws a consistent local and visitor crowd across all three services. The kitchen covers Mexican and Italian cooking with a broad menu built around fresh ingredients and generous portions. It is one of the few venues in La Veleta that offers delivery, dine-in, and rooftop seating within the same operation.
The space runs across multiple levels, with a rooftop terrace that offers direct sunset views over the neighborhood. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, without the formality or pricing of the hotel zone. The rooftop is the most sought-after seating, particularly in the early evening. The overall format works across group sizes and occasions, from solo breakfast to family dinners and casual late-night meals.
The menu is broad and consistent. Mexican staples include sopa de lima, tacos de arrachera, burritos, ceviche, and guacamole. The Italian side runs housemade pasta, wood-fired pizza, and tiramisu. Seafood is available across both sides of the menu. Fresh juices, margaritas, and cocktails round out the drinks program. The tiramisu and banana margarita are recurring highlights in reviews. Service is attentive and friendly, with staff who know the menu well.
