Mandolin Aegean Bistro has operated at 4312 NE 2nd Ave in Miami's Design District since 2009, founded by Ahmet Erkaya and Anastasia Koutsioukis. The restaurant is housed in a restored 1940s home and holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. Recurring dishes include baked feta with diced tomato, smoked chili flakes and Turkish peppers, köfte, moussaka, grilled catch-of-the-day, and a selection of salads and seasonal small plates. House-baked bread is served in paper bags. Desserts include honey pie with salted shortbread crust and baklava, typically paired with Turkish coffee.
