Kimpton Surfcomber operates at 1717 Collins Avenue, a 1948 Art Deco building on the South Beach oceanfront. The pool area was redesigned and is positioned to receive more direct sunlight hours than most pools on the Collins Avenue stretch. The venue runs daily pool access open to the public via day pass, with weekend DJ programming and a consistent calendar of activations throughout the year. It has been one of the primary venues for Miami Music Week pool parties since 2004, hosting labels including STMPD RCRDS and Toolroom.
The pool sits directly adjacent to the beach, with daybeds, lounge chairs, and bookable cabanas around the perimeter. The format is social and open, with a mixed crowd of hotel guests, day pass visitors, and event attendees. Weekend pool parties run from noon to 4PM with resident and guest DJs. The Summer Cabana Series activates every Friday through Sunday with brand partnerships, welcome drinks per cabana, and cocktail promotions. The tone is festive and accessible rather than selective.
High Tide Beach Bar and Grill runs daily from 11AM to 5PM with an American menu of shared plates and cocktails. The Social Club restaurant covers brunch daily from 7:30AM to 2:30PM and dinner from 5PM to 10PM. The bar program runs frozen cocktails, craft mixes, and a full spirits list poolside. DJ programming on weekends focuses on house and electronic, with events during Music Week extending through the evening under separate ticketing and production.
