Taboo Beach Club operates at Km 7 of Tulum's Hotel Zone under Grupo Rosa Negra, adjacent to the Taboo restaurant. The beach club covers 2,000 square meters of white sand beachfront with a pool, wooden loungers, rustic cabanas, tipis, VIP islands, and shaded lounge areas. Access requires a cover charge with 50% credited toward food and beverage consumption. Day beach club hours run from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with the restaurant and venue continuing until 1:00 AM. The format is consistently high-energy, driven by a resident DJ and a daily live entertainment program. Entry is restricted to adults 18 and over.
The design is boho-chic with whitewashed stone, natural wood, handcrafted lamps, and parota bar structures throughout. The beach club is positioned as one of the highest-energy daytime venues in the Hotel Zone, with a party format that runs continuously from opening. Live saxophone and violin shows integrate with the DJ set throughout the day. Fashion shows, bottle happenings, and sparkler moments add to the entertainment program. The crowd is social and celebration-oriented, making it a consistent choice for bachelorette groups, birthdays, and high-energy beach days. Shisha service is available as an additional offering.
The kitchen runs the same Mediterranean menu as the Taboo restaurant, developed by Chef Athinagoras Kostakos. Standout dishes at beach level include fresh ceviches, seafood platters, grilled fish, pasta, and premium meat cuts. The cocktail program is built around the four elements concept, with craft preparations and an extensive champagne and wine selection. Music runs as house and upbeat commercial programming from opening, with the resident DJ anchored by live saxophone and violin performances that build energy progressively through the afternoon.
