Casa Tua operates out of a Mediterranean revival villa at 1700 James Avenue, hidden behind ivy and a walled garden in the heart of South Beach. Open since 2002, the property combines a Northern Italian restaurant with a boutique hotel and a private members club. The restaurant runs dinner service nightly across multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, each with distinct capacity and character.
The entrance opens onto a garden patio with lanterns hung from trees, leading into a series of interior dining rooms designed to feel like a private residence. The main spaces include the garden terrace, an intimate patio, and the Chef's Table, a semi-private 22-seat space with direct views into the open kitchen. The Club Terrace on the upper level overlooks the garden and is available for private dining. The members-only lounge on the second floor operates separately and is reserved for members and their guests.
The kitchen focuses on Northern Italian cooking with a refined approach to seasonal ingredients. The menu includes octopus carpaccio, tagliolini with crème fraîche and caviar, fettuccine with wild mushrooms and black truffle Parmigiano fonduta, farro risotto with Maine lobster, pappardelle with lamb ragù, and branzino. The wine list is extensive. Service is attentive and consistent with the venue's positioning.
