Kalua has operated on Paraga Beach since 2003, established as one of the southern coast's primary beach club formats with a recent full renovation that elevated the physical setup and service standard. The venue sits in a naturally protected bay that maintains good conditions regardless of wind, making it a reliable option through the full season. The beach layout is divided into three distinct sections: VIP Bungalows positioned adjacent to the main restaurant with large shared beds for groups, Classic Sunbeds in pairs with parasol in the central zone, and Front Row Cabanas directly at the waterline. A resident live singer performs daily from 4:00 PM, with beach parties building from 4:30 PM onward toward a sunset peak. The venue runs daily from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
The atmosphere is deliberately split between a relaxed morning and early afternoon format and a progressively more energetic evening configuration. The beach party format activates fully around 4:30 to 5:00 PM, when the DJ and live performance program combine to create the Kalua signature energy. The lounge bar sits at the center of the setup, adjacent to the DJ booth, acting as the social anchor for guests moving between the beach and the interior spaces. A dedicated shisha program runs throughout the day from beach positions. The Kalua Boutique carries Greek and international beachwear and accessories. Massage service is available directly at the sunbed.
The beach club serves a beach-tailored version of the full kitchen menu directly to all sections, covering Mediterranean fusion and Japanese preparations with fresh local ingredients. Standout items include sushi, fresh seafood, and signature cocktails developed by the resident mixologist team, with custom preparations available on request. The shisha program covers a curated selection of aromas guided by dedicated staff. The resident live singer Ellyz, with influences across Soul, Jazz, Latin, Pop, and Afro House, performs daily from 4:00 PM. The DJ runs continuous programming from opening, building toward the full beach party format in the late afternoon.
