Morla operates at 1052 Kane Concourse in Bay Harbor Islands, running an exclusively tasting menu format by reservation. The restaurant seats 34 guests and is owned and operated by chefs Sharon Morla, originally from Lima, and Rubén Samayoa, from Ensenada, Mexico. Both chefs present and explain each course directly at the table. The concept has no à la carte option. Dinner service runs Tuesday through Saturday.
The space is intimate and deliberately contained. Entry is by doorbell. Inside, the room is quiet, well-lit, and designed around the interaction between chefs and guests. With only 34 seats, the pace of the meal is controlled and unhurried. The wine selection is curated and focused on pairing with the tasting menu progression. The atmosphere shifts naturally through the courses as the chefs move through the dining room.
The tasting menu runs 11 to 13 courses and combines Peruvian Nikkei technique with Mexican influences. The sequence is built around fresh fish preparations: ceviches and tiraditos with house leche de tigre variations, hamachi with beet and passion fruit, branzino in lemon cream emulsion, salmon in passion fruit leche de tigre, and desserts developed in house. Modern techniques including foams, mousses, and smoked preparations appear throughout. Each dish is presented and explained by the chefs. The menu rotates seasonally.
