The Savoy Hotel and Beach Club sits at 425 Ocean Drive, in the South of Fifth neighborhood at the quieter end of Miami Beach's oceanfront strip. Built in 1935 and listed in the Historic Hotels of America registry, the property underwent a full restoration in 2018. The complex spans two acres with over 200 linear feet of unobstructed Atlantic frontage, two outdoor pools, and a private beach. Day passes and memberships are available to non-hotel guests, with beach club access running daily from 10AM to 6PM.
The setup covers two outdoor pools surrounded by tropical courtyards, private cabanas bookable for the full day, and a dedicated beach area with loungers, umbrellas, and towel service. The SoFi location keeps the property away from the denser foot traffic of the central Ocean Drive stretch, with a quieter and more contained crowd. The rooftop bar adds an elevated option for late afternoon drinks with ocean views. The overall tone is relaxed and boutique, consistent with the scale of the property.
The culinary program centers on Japanese and Asian fusion cuisine led by Chef Uechi, with a menu that covers sushi, robata grill, Katsuya classics, and an Omakase format. The Sandbar handles poolside and beachside service with cocktails and lighter Asian-influenced bites throughout the day. Signature cocktails and mojitos run alongside the food program from opening. There is no structured music programming at the beach club.
