Aiyanna Ibiza opened in 2017 on the shores of Cala Nova Bay in the north of the island, created by the same team behind Amante Ibiza. The restaurant sits on an elevated position above the cove, with panoramic views across the Mediterranean and direct access to the beach below. The space is designed around organic materials, handcrafted Guatemalan textile parasols, natural textures, and local craftsmanship, integrating the northern Ibiza landscape into the physical structure of the venue. The kitchen operates on a seasonal format, with many ingredients sourced daily from the restaurant's own organic vegetable garden. Chef Ricardo Monje Sagués leads the culinary direction, with a menu that changes each season based on what is available and at its best. Aiyanna operates from late spring through mid-October.
The setting at Cala Nova positions the restaurant between the terraces above the bay and the beach below, with the sound of the water as a constant ambient element. The design philosophy combines bohemian and contemporary references in a way that feels specific to northern Ibiza rather than generic. Terrace tables, low lounge areas, and beach beds at the water's edge offer different configurations depending on the time of day and the nature of the visit. Live music performances run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, covering jazz, soulful house, Latin, and Cuban-inspired formats. Full moon dinners with live acoustic music programming are a recurring seasonal feature that draws both returning guests and first-time visitors.
The menu covers a wide range of Mediterranean preparations with Eastern Mediterranean influences, built around sharing plates, fresh seafood, organic produce, and seasonal vegetables. Vegetarian and vegan options are extensive and integrated throughout the menu rather than treated as secondary. Signature dishes include grilled watermelon with arugula, toasted almonds and aged Ibizan goat cheese, grilled scallops with chili and lime butter, and fettuccine with lobster, cherry tomatoes, sage and salicornia. The cocktail and drinks program includes a selection of wines, champagnes, and house cocktails alongside fresh cold-pressed juices.
